Friends in Stitching Swap

Our online Friends in Stitching group had a Leanne's House swap and this is what I received from Christine

A beautiful sewing bag and pin cushion. Thankyou so much Christine they are gorgeous.
and
this is what I made for Sue
Wrapped it in 50cm of fabric and tried it with 2 pieces of fabric that could be used for binding.

A Block Keeper
The fabric I used is from the Aster Manor range.

and this one is for me...it did start out to be for Sue but I cut the fabric the wrong size so I made her another one!

Weekend Retreat

I spent the weekend at the Quilter's Rest in Kingaroy. It was simply fabulous!! Everything was so green and the company (Helen, Teresa, Jenny, Lynda and Dianne) was wonderful and the food, just yummy!! If you get a chance, you must go.

Birthday Stitchery

I belong to an on-line craft group and in 2009 I received this stitchery for my birthday. The pattern suggested to frame the stitchery but I thought an A4 binder cover would be more useful.

Another OPAM finish.
