Wash Day

Do you wash your fabrics before using?  You see, I don't wash my fabrics so I was really concerned about my quilts shrinking and the colours bleeding when I decided to wash them. No worries at all - they all came through the wash beautifully.

Nah I don't wash either. Too lazy for the extra washing when I already do 3-4 loads a day. So far no problems, and I always wash my quilts separately to anything else. I think Quilters Companion are having something on washing quilts in their Nov issue????

Yes I usually wash fabric and batting before stitching together.
I pretty impatient but, usually just soak, hang for 5 mins to dry, or throw in dryer with a towel, or if i am really desparte I iron them dry.
