Well done Helen! She certainly will be busy!
Oh, I am so sorry Tereasa. Retail is just struggling everywhere at the moment, more so than ever before. I essentially just took a small paycut in order to secure my job with a proper contract, I've been terrified I wouldn't have a job for much longer! Hopefully being online will give you a bigger customer base, and will make prices more competitive for consumers. Good luck with everything. Do you have any wadding left, I may have to come in and stock up on some! xx
It's a sad story all over the country - we only have 3 fabric shops left in the Illawarra (including Spotlight and Hobby Sew) after one closed down just before Christmas. I wish I lived closer. Good luck with whatever you do Tereasa - I loved your shop.
Well I am all shopped out I think, I'm going to be so busy now but it will be fun. I'm going to miss your shop Tereasa as I have made some lovely friends.... including you of course..... since your first shop and those friendships will continue so Thank you for all those greats years, I really feel very sad about it all actually.Your friendHelenPS.... love the piccie.
Love the photo Trees! I can't bear to think the shop is closing... It's been such a big part of my life for so long. Thank goodness for the strong friendships that have come from it though. xx
